SOLAR WATER HEATING

Working Principle

The working principle is easy but brilliant, the water is heated and stored in the solar collector directly. The hot water is created in a few minutes, the process is quick and the water always remains fresh and clean. And there are no transfer losses between the media and no circulation is required to heat the water. The smallest amount of sunlight can be effectively converted into heat.

Climax 1982

The first commercial solar water heater consisted of several cylindrical 25-gallon water tanks painted black and contained in a hot box. The inventor, Clarence Kemp, began marketing them in 1891 under the name Climax Solar Water Heater. They became popular especially in the Los Angeles, California, area at the turn of the century. Improvements made in 1911, including sun-exposed pipes that heated the water and an insulated storage tank into which the solar-heated water went, allowed people to enjoy sun-heated water day and night.

Key features

  • Tankless all in one hot water system
  • All in one, collector and tank integrated design
  • Direct heating, high performance
  • Light weight, easy handling
  • Fast and easy to install
  • Plug and play system
  • Reduced transport costs
  • Short payback period
  • Aesthetic roof integration

Daily Water Consumption

Estimate your total daily hot water consumption using the figure. If you have a bathtub, 100-120 liters of water are needed each time. And the faucet needs about 12 liters per minute. So the calculation is effortless to determine the final figure.
